News - Newspaper: Azerbaijan leader reprimands Armenia PM

Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: It turns out that the president of Azerbaijan [Ilham Aliyev] not only imposes territorial concessions on the head of the RA [i.e. PM Nikol Pashinyan], but also censors the speeches and interviews of the representatives of the [Armenian] authorities, especially if they talk about recovering, bringing back Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], arming the [Armenian] army, or going for revenge [against Azerbaijan]. [Armenian ruling parliament majority] CC [Civil Contract Faction] MP Hakob Aslanyan gave an interview a month and a half ago, where he said: "We need another 1-1.5 years to be able to fully straighten our backs, and we will talk to the Turk in a different way." It turns out that during the last meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan, Aliyev put that interview in front of Pashinyan that ‘there are revanchists in your [political] team, and you are convincing me otherwise.’ And Pashinyan made a harsh remark to Aslanyan during the last closed meeting with the CC members. In his conversation with us, Aslanyan did not deny this story; on the contrary, he proudly admitted that Aliyev really took his interview hard.
