US envoy considers group of women’s role important in ensuring Armenia's bright future

To mark Women’s History Month, US Ambassador Kristina Kvien hosted Armenia’s senior women government officials, parliamentarians, and city council members, as well as emerging leaders from NDI’s Katarine Women’s Leadership program supported by USAID, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from Facebook page of the US Embassy in Armenia.  The Ambassador praised their commitment to Armenia’s bright future and prosperity and emphasized the importance of female leadership to drive positive change. “I believe that women like you are essential to Armenia’s democratic progress and resilience,” Ambassador Kvien said.
