News - Zakharova: Russia received Yerevan's developments on situation on Russia TV broadcasting in Armenia

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA), stated this in a press briefing Wednesday—and commenting on the statement by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia,  Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, that his ministry will make new proposals to Russian partners to exclude programs with anti-Armenian content on Russian television. "Moscow is in contact with the Armenian side regarding the broadcasting of Russian TV channels [in Armenia]. The parties are holding consultations, the exchange of views is not over," said Zakharova. She emphasized that the main task of both sides is to solve—in the spirit of mutual respect—all problematic issues and prevent new ones. The participants of the dialogue should strive for this, added the official representative of the Russian MFA.
