Starting today, I am starting a series—at certain intervals—which I call "Conversations about the State," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in a video posted on TikTok Tuesday. "From the title it is already obvious what issues it will cover, I just want to share some thoughts with you. (…). We [i.e. Armenia] are a democracy due to the referendum of 1991 and also the people’s, non-violent, velvet revolution of 2018, and I must record that one of the key factors of democracy, if not the most key, is the citizen. It is very important to understand how a citizen is formed. This has to do with the relationship between human freedoms and responsibilities. (…). (…) it is very important to record that in any case, citizens agree to limit their freedoms by the freedom of others, so that the freedom of each of us does not limit the freedom of others," the Armenian PM added, in particular.
