Stoltenberg: NATO supports Armenia’s territorial integrity

The stability of the South Caucasus is very important for the Euro-Atlantic region. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in a joint press briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan on Tuesday. According to Stoltenberg, Armenia and Azerbaijan currently have a chance to achieve peace. In this regard, he called for reaching an agreement which will pave the way for settlement and establishment of long-term peace for the two peoples. NATO supports Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, its peaceful aspirations, the NATO Secretary General emphasized. Stoltenberg is in Armenia as part of his regional visit.
