Of course, we have managed to make progress on some articles of the peace treaty [with Azerbaijan], but there are still not many tangible results on fundamental issues, we are still negotiating. This was stated Friday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, during the discussions of the report on the progress and results of the 2023 implementation of the 2021-2026 program of the Armenian government at the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly. "In addition to that, we have had informal contacts as well; for example, within the framework of the 3+3 format—actually, the 3+2 format ministerial meeting in Tehran. It is noteworthy that from the moment when the president of Azerbaijan refused these series of meetings—starting from Granada, the meetings of the [Armenian and Azerbaijani] foreign ministers also stopped from the same moment. Nevertheless, in 2024, meetings at the level of foreign ministers resumed in Munich, then in Berlin," added Mirzoyan.
