Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held consultations in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart, Burak Akcapar, on a diplomatic settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and the situation in the South Caucasus, informs the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was reported that the parties compared their views on the situation in the South Caucasus, emphasizing the importance of the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and contributing to it—first of all within the framework of regional formats.
