The “peace agenda” is a strategy, and a strategy is when you keep moving towards, deciding on your goal regardless of the circumstances. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at his press conference today—and responding the remark that he used to declare that nothing will force Armenia to deviate from the peace agenda, but lately he has been declaring that there is a high probability of an attack by Azerbaijan on Armenia, and asked whether this mean that the peace agenda has failed. "For example, democracy is a strategy for us. Is democracy in Armenia in a perfect state at present? Of course no. And what? Should we say, since there are such problems, let's stop going along the democratic path? This is the strategic approach," Pashinyan said.
