News - A welcoming ceremony for the Minister of Defense of Armenia took place in Iran

On March 6th, in the framework of his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a formal welcoming ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran in honor of Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, press-service of the ministry informs. The ceremony included the presence of a military band and a guard of honour, with the national anthems of both countries being played. Prior to the commencement of the welcoming ceremony, Suren Papikyan laid a wreath and paid homage at the monument dedicated to Iranian soldiers who lost their lives in the war.
