News - Armenia, Georgia ministers discuss defense cooperation agenda matters

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, on Monday had a telephonic conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, Papikyan himself informed on Facebook. “During our discussion, I extended my congratulations to Minister Chikovani on his recent appointment to the position of Minister of Defence of Georgia. We deliberated on the current agenda of bilateral cooperation in the defence sector and forthcoming initiatives, exchanging perspectives on security issues. Reaffirmed our commitment to further advancing the bilateral relations between Armenia and Georgia,” added the Armenian defense minister.
