by Lilit Feb. 23, 2024

Armenia's participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is currently "frozen," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with France 24 television. "In our opinion, the Collective Security Treaty has not been implemented towards Armenia, especially in 2021-2022. This could not have escaped our attention. We have ‘frozen’ our participation in this treaty. Let's see what happens next," Pashinyan said. . He added that "Moscow dominates" the CSTO. And answering the question about the possible closing of the Russian military base in Armenia, the Armenian PM emphasized that "this is not being discussed at the moment."
