The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President in exile, Samvel Shahramanyan, spoke about summoning him to the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia for questioning. "According to the summons of the Anti-Corruption Committee, which I received on February 20, it is noted that they received the letter addressed to the prosecutor of Armenia at the beginning of November 2023, in which I requested information that became known and was disseminated on social networks, according to which some officials of the Republic of Artsakh have manifested violations, mainly in the financial sector, to accept these messages as a report of crime and take appropriate steps," Shahramanyan said at a press conference Thursday. "As a result of the study of those facts, a criminal proceeding was initiated by them, and within that framework they invited me to be questioned as a witness. At this moment, I don't want to mention names, maybe the body implementing the proceedings will clarify that matter more correctly. But it is very important for us to get the answers to these questions, and if there are culprits, they definitely must be punished," added the Artsakh president in exile.
