Official sources say that the West made such a demand, in return for which they promised to curb Azerbaijan's military ambitions [towards Armenia]. That was the reason why Pashinyan repeated once again during a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Munich: "I’ve said a long time ago: Armenia is not Russia's ally on the issue of Ukraine; this is our sincere position."
