Our analysis shows that there can be one reason for Azerbaijan's actions, and it can be, for example, starting military operations in some parts of the border, later on with the prospect of turning the military escalation into a full-scale war against Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia. "This intention is read in all statements and actions sounding from Baku," added Pashinyan. "The policy of Armenia’s government is to do everything possible—by way of engaging in active negotiations—to prevent such developments, while standing firmly in the positions of protecting all legitimate interests of Armenia. Those legitimate interests are the protection of Armenia's territorial integrity, sovereignty," said the premier.
