News - Names of Armenia soldiers who died in Azerbaijan shooting announced

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) Armenia has released the names of the Armenian servicemen who died Tuesday, as a result of Azerbaijani armed forces firing on Armenian combat positions in the Nerkin Hand village sector. They are: Edvard Harutyunyan (born in 1974), Gagik Manukyan (born in 1982), Arsen Hambardzumyan (born in 1979), and Hrachya Hovhannisyan (born in 1957). Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that starting at 5:30am on Tuesday, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire—from small arms—in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Nerkin Hand village sector in Syunik Province. As a result, the Armenian side has four casualties and one wounded. Shooting stopped as of 9:30am.
