Algeria military helicopter crashes, 3 crew members killed

A military helicopter of the Algerian Air Force crashed in the central part of the country, as a result of which three crew members were killed, reports the Algerian APS news agency, citing the respective statement of the presidential office. "A military helicopter of the Air Force Command crashed on the outskirts of El Menia  airport on the evening of February 7, 2024, during planned night exercises," the aforesaid agency quoted the statement of the presidential office. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has extended his condolences to the relatives of the deceased pilots. An investigation into the causes of this incident is underway.
