News - Armenia parliament to convene regular session Tuesday

The Council of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Monday convened a sitting, and NA speaker Alen Simonyan presided over it, the legislature informed. The draft agendas of the seventh session of the eighth convocation of the NA and of the regular sittings to be convened Tuesday were debated on and approved. The sequence and duration of the debates on the agenda items of the regular sittings was also set by the decision of the Council. The duration of debates on the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Code of the Republic of Armenia and the enclosed submitted package of the draft laws was set until three hours. Seventeen matters were put on the draft agenda of the regular sittings to be convened Tuesday. Also, amendments were made in the 019-A and 020-A decisions of October 25, 2021 of the Council of the National Assembly.
