An employee of the Finnish diplomatic mission in Moscow will personally deliver the ballots of Finnish citizens who voted in the presidential election via Istanbul due to the closure of checkpoints on the border with Russia. This is reported by Helsingin Sanomat newspaper, writes TASS. As the source of the newspaper specified, on February 5, one of the embassy employees will fly from Moscow via Istanbul to Helsinki to deliver the advance voting ballots. 43 Finns voted in the second round of the Finnish presidential election in Russia, while in the first round there were 45 such people. The main day of the presidential election in Finland is February 11. Former Prime Minister Alexander Stubb and former Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto made it to the second round.
