News - Discussions on creating Armenia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary dialogue platform may be held in Geneva

Discussions on creating a platform for interparliamentary dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia may take place in March in Geneva, Switzerland. Martin Chungong, the current Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), announced this during his visit to the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, Azerbaijani media reported. According to him, he discussed this matter with the Azerbaijani authorities and was satisfied with their response. A meeting of the speaker of the parliament of Azerbaijan with his Armenian colleagues is planned within the framework of the next IPU assembly (March 23 to 27). This meeting is expected to be informal.
