News - Armenia Investigative Committee: Man who desecrated features of Russia flag in Yerevan is charged

Samvel Shirinyan, who desecrated the attributes of a Russian flag in Yerevan, has been charged. Gor Abrahamyan, spokesperson of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this. According to Abrahamyan, criminal charges were brought against this Yerevan resident, who was found and brought to the Investigative Committee. The aforesaid Armenian citizen on Monday desecrated the monument in Yerevan dedicated to the children of besieged Leningrad. He tore off the wreaths at this monument and stamped on their ribbon in the colors of the Russian national flag, video recorded his aforementioned actions, and publicized the video. Russia has condemned the desecration of this monument.
