Finance minister: Armenia GDP growth projected to be 7-8%

by Lilit Jan. 31, 2024

The growth of Armenia's GDP is projected at the level of 7 to 8 percent, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan told a press conference Wednesday. According to him, the growth of Armenia's economic activity, however, will be more than that of the GDP. Also, he informed that the Ministry of Finance entered the list of the top employers of Armenia for the first time, occupying the 24th place. In his view, this is a result of the improvement of the administration system and the engagement of high-quality specialists. "We intend to continue this work," assured Hovhannisyan.
