The wreaths placed at the monument in Yerevan dedicated to the children of besieged Leningrad have been toppled. As we learn from Facebook user Samvel Shirinyan's Facebook page, a man tore the ribbons with the Russian tricolor, stamped on them, and knocked down the flowers placed on the monument to the children of besieged Leningrad. He complained about the words of Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, that she said that there is no document proving that ethnic Armenian cleansing was carried out in Nagorno-Karabakh. Then the man asked Zakharova: "And is there a document that there was a siege in Leningrad that they put a monument [to it] in Armenia and are mourning [it]?" And in response to the question he asked himself, Shirinyan states: "There is no document about the siege of Leningrad."
