Exoil Group holding owner Karen Vanetsyan confirms being free

Exoil Group holding proprietor Karen Vanetsyan has told RBC news agency that he is free. "I am free, everything is fine, the office is working, everything is normal," he said. Vanetsyan added that he was not detained. Earlier, RBC sources close to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the regional police department had reported that Vanetsyan was detained in downtown Moscow. The businessman is wanted by Armenia along the lines of the criminal case into money laundering due to the purchase of the shares of the Zangezur plant. Previously, the lawyers of this entrepreneur also had reported that Vanetsyan is free.
