King Charles was admitted to a London hospital Friday morning for a routine procedure for prostate treatment, the Buckingham Palace said, The Mirror reported. "His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness," the UK royal family’s office said. King Charles will be treated in the same hospital where Catherine the Princess of Wales (Kate Middleton) underwent abdominal surgery last week, BBC News reports. It is not known how long the UK king will stay in the hospital.
