Last week, a meeting of the Public Investment Committee took place, during which a deep, economic, and technical analysis of the "dry port" was approved, and the prime minister instructed to form a roadmap and start the implementation already. Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated this during the government's briefings Thursday—and referring to the work being carried out in terms of the "dry port" project of Armenia. "Also, it was discussed and an agreement was reached that the ‘dry port,’ which coincides with the northwest hub of the Crossroads of Peace [project of the Armenian government], be included in the general project of the Crossroads of Peace and be presented as one of the components of the Crossroads of Peace" the minister added. When asked whether respective steps will be taken this year, Kerobyan confirmed that they will be taken. "We are already putting the roadmap into circulation, which, by the way, was part of the technical and economic analysis. In parallel, we are already doing various works; that is, engaging a consulting company for the transaction, drawing up the tender package, and already working towards engaging investment companies," the economy minister said.
