The new judges of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were sworn in during a ceremony at the Court building in the Belarusian capital of Minsk, TASS reported. According to the December 25, 2023 decision by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the EAEU, Erna Hayriyan and Arayik Tunyan from Armenia have been appointed as judges of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, as of January 1. "The current year marks the tenth anniversary of the signing of the EAEU Treaty and the tenth anniversary of the Court this year, and the fact that, in fact, all our countries have come close to the fact that after nine years of work, the replacement of judges will take place. And except for the honorable representative of Armenia, Erna Hayriyan, who is handing over the powers of the President [of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union] to Aleksey Dronov, and she has remained in the former composition of the Court; all the others are new people," said the deputy prime minister.
