News - FM: Armenia expects to deepen partnership by working together with Belgium presidency at EU Council

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, lauded the activities of Spain, which has concluded its presidency in the Council of the European Union (EU), and welcomed the presidency of Belgium in 2024. “My congratulations to [Spanish FM] Jose Manuel Albares & outgoing EU2023ES for activities during exceptionally challenging times. Appreciated that the EU Council Spanish Presidency advanced our common agenda, aimed at further strengthening EU’s partnership with Armenia based on shared vision,” Mirzoyan wrote on X, former Twitter. And welcoming the Belgian presidency of the Council of the EU, the Armenian FM wished success to his Belgian colleague Hadja Lahbib. Ararat Mirzoyan added that Armenia looks forward to working together with the Belgian presidency of the Council of the EU in 2024 to further deepen and strengthen partnership with the EU to effectively fulfill the aspirations of their citizens.
