Head of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hayashi Yoshimasa arrived in Ukraine. This is his first visit since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, RBC Ukraine reports, citing the Press Service of the Japanese Embassy in Ukraine. As the Japanese Foreign Ministry wrote, during his visit to Kiev, Hayashi and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba will discuss Ukraine’s participation in the efforts of the international community to “put an end to the Russian invasion as quickly as possible.” The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs leader is visiting Ukraine with executives from Japanese companies, including Hiroshi Mikitani, the Rakuten Group's founder and CEO. “We hope that these companies will have the opportunity to directly listen to and engage with the recovery and reconstruction needs of the Ukrainian side, which will serve as the starting point for deepening the involvement of Japanese companies in the future assistance for the reconstruction of Ukraine,” the Press Service wrote.
