Armenia parliament speaker on signing CSTO decisions: We have no intention of torpedoing

by Lilit Dec. 22, 2023

I don't know what documents it’s about; I need to see [them]. Anyway, we have no intention of a torpedoing activity in any way. Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, told this to reporters in the NA Friday—and addressing the question of whether Armenia will sign the documents adopted at the recent CSTO summit, which the CSTO Secretary General brought with him to Yerevan for signing. "In the event that it would be against the interests of Armenia, no, they will not be signed; and there have been examples of that," added the speaker of the parliament.
