News - Minister: Armenia economy is in world’s top 10 fastest growing economies

In the case when in 2020 the budget of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia was 28 billion drams, in 2024 this number will initially be 91 billion drams, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. "With its last three years of work, the Ministry of Economy has shown that we always fulfill the allocated budget. I am sure that the investment we are making in the economy [of Armenia] brings the results you see," said Kerobyan. "In 2022-2023, Armenia's economy is in the top ten fastest growing economies in the world. I believe it will be in the top five this year. This shows that Armenia's economic policy can be considered successful," added the minister of economy.
