by Lilit Dec. 21, 2023

Imangali Tasmagambetov, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization CSTO, arrived in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan Thursday amid the country's serious dissatisfaction with this organization. According to the CSTO official website, in Yerevan, Tasmagambetov is going to discuss to results of the last CSTO summit held in the Belarusian capital of Minsk in November, during which more than a dozen documents were adopted. And it is with this package that he is in Yerevan so that Armenia also joins it. A meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is scheduled as well during this visit. But there is no mention of any other meetings in the respective statement publicized on the CSTO official website.
