Ruling party formally nominates incumbent Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan president in snap election

The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has officially nominated the incumbent, Ilham Aliyev, for the position of the President of Azerbaijan in the upcoming snap election in the country. This decision was adopted at Friday's extended meeting of the NAP leadership, APA reports. The snap presidential election in Azerbaijan is slated for February 7, 2024.
