The official visit by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, to Greece commenced Thursday with a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to the Unknown Soldier, in front of the country's parliament. Subsequently, a welcoming ceremony took place at the Ministry of National Defense of Greece, informs the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. Afterward, a formal meeting took place between Suren Papikyan and his Greek colleague, Nikos Dendias, during which the Armenian-Greek defense cooperation was discussed. Both parties emphasized the considerable potential for cooperative development and, consequently, reached an agreement to invigorate this cooperation across various dimensions, encompassing technico-military engagements, experience exchange, educational initiatives, training programs, tactical training, and some other domains. At the culmination of the meeting, the defense ministers of Armenia and Greece signed an agreement on technico-military cooperation between the governments of the two countries. Then, the two defense ministers issued a joint statement for the press.
