News - Armenia defense minister visits military pantheon in Cyprus (PHOTOS)

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, on Wednesday visited the Tomb of Makedonitissa, within the framework of his official visit to Cyprus. He laid a wreath at this memorial dedicated to Cypriot and Greek soldiers who have fallen for the defense of Cyprus, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.. Those in attendance observed a minute of silence in honor of those who died for the motherland. Subsequently, Minister Papikyan visited the Imprisoned Graves memorial and paid his respects to the individuals who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Cyprus. There, too, he placed a wreath in solemn remembrance.
