At its Cabinet session Thursday, the Armenian government made a decision to apply a tariff quota, to set the import license procedure, as well as to approve the forms of one-time and main licenses to goods of Serbian origin imported from Serbia to Armenia during 2024. This is in connection with the need to ensure the consumption of the allowed amount of imports allocated to Armenia by the EAEU regulations. Accordingly, during 2024, the import of goods of Serbian origin from Serbia to Armenia shall be permitted with zero percent customs duty—but only if there is a license. The Ministry of Economy of Armenia will be the authorized agency to issue a license for the import of these Serbian products. It is about the following products: Cheeses, except Glarnian cheese with the addition of herbs, Butterkase cheese, and sheep's or goat's milk cheese; Alcoholic beverages obtained by the distillation of grape wine or by maceration of grapes; Cigarettes containing tobacco.
