News - Armenia high-tech minister, Arab Organization for Industrialization chairman discus topics of mutual interest

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Robert Khachatryan, met with the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mokhtar Abdel Latif, in Cairo. Robert Khachatryan presented the development strategy of Armenia’s high-tech sector, the programs and initiatives being implemented by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia aimed at the development of the capacities of the sector companies and the commercialization of products, the ministry informs Armenia News-NEWS.am. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, for his part, presented the vision of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which is to localize technologies and increase the ratio of local production in various industries. During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest and the possibilities of their implementation were discussed. The parties expressed their mutual readiness to create the necessary conditions for the cooperation of large companies of the two countries, and emphasized the need to increase investment opportunities.
