News - Armenia parliament speaker to not attend CSTO meetings

Speaker of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly (RA NA), Alen Simonyan, will not participate in the external session and the 16th plenary session of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to be held in Moscow on December 19. Simonyan's spokesperson Tsovinar Khachatryan informed about this on Tuesday. "The RA NA delegation will not participate in the sessions either. RA NA President Alen Simonyan confirmed in writing that he will not leave for Moscow today in an official letter addressed to the RF [(Russian Federation)] FA [(Federal Assembly)] State Duma chairman, Vyacheslav Volodin," the statement adds.
