News - MEP to Armenia MPs: We came to express of France citizens, European Parliament solidarity with your people

We know what the Armenian people experienced in recent period. We have come to Armenia to express the solidarity of the citizens of France and the European Parliament to your people, as well as to say that we don’t forget Armenia: Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Geoffroy Didier said this during the meeting with the chair of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly (RA NA) Standing Committee on European Integration, Arman Yeghoyan, and committee member Arsen Torosyan, held in the NA Tuesday. Welcoming the guest, Yeghoyan valued the Armenian-French interparliamentary cooperation, as well as highly appreciated the permanent support of France to Armenia. The interlocutors discussed issues regarding the deepening of bilateral cooperation within the RA-EU framework. The Armenian parliamentarians talked about the liberalization process of the EU entry visas for the Armenian citizens. Touching upon the efforts of the Armenian side for the establishment of peace and stability in its region, Arman Yeghoyan and Arsen Torosyan introduced to the guest the “Crossroads of Peace” project presented by the Armenian government.
