According to the Government Decree of the Republic of Armenia № 1604-N of September 22, 2023, the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia from 1st January 2024 will start issuing ordinary (non-biometric) passports without an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries. Until 1st January, 2024 ordinary (non-biometric) passports issued to nationals of Armenia must contain an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries, informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia. After 1st January 2024, ordinary (non-biometric) passports will be considered valid in foreign countries during the validity period, regardless of the presence of an endorsement stating the validity of the passport for foreign countries on page 4 of the passport.
