News - Kremlin: Russia considers Armenia an ally

Armenia is a sovereign country that develops bilateral relations with those countries with which it deems it expedient. Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, told reporters this, according to TASS. This is how Peskov commented on the fact of Armenia and the United Kingdom signing a defense cooperation program for 2023/24. "We [Russia] have our relations with Armenia. And, of course, Armenia is a friendly country, it is our ally. We will continue to develop our allied relations," added the Kremlin spox.
