News - Armenia legislature head: Karabakh issue was resolved in 2016

Alen Simonyan, speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, assures that the Armenian side has no room for additional concessions to Azerbaijan. "Our authorities, taking a hit on themselves, made such statements, took such steps that we put our authorities under a hit and took a big risk; but we did it realizing that we need peace," Simonyan told reporters at the NA Tuesday. According to Simonyan, however, the Nagorno-Karabakh issue was resolved in 2016. "Not in 2018, [but] in 2016," he emphasized.
