Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Raimundas Lopata, Head of Lithuania-Armenia Friendship Group in the Lithuanian parliament, the PM’s office informs. The premier welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia, and emphasized the dynamic nature of Armenian-Lithuanian relations. According to Pashinyan, bilateral cooperation has been actively developing recently between the two countries, and this is facilitated also by high-level mutual visits. I addition, the premier stressed interparliamentary cooperation, including on international platforms. Raimundas Lopata, for his part, noted the fact of close cooperation with their Armenian colleagues, and expressed confidence that bilateral relations will continue to develop and strengthen consistently. The interlocutors exchanged views also on the processes taking place in Armenia’s region. They discussed the humanitarian issues of more than 100,000 forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, and the measures being taken by the Armenian government to resolve these issues. Furthermore, they touched upon the "Crossroads of Peace" project propose by the Armenian government and its objectives.
