News - Aram Khachaturian Violin Concerto performed by US violinist Stella Chen in Yerevan

As part of the 11th Khachaturian International Festival, American violinist Stella Chen took the stage with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra ad performed Aram Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto, the orchestra informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Chen notes that she has listened to and loved Khachaturian's Violin Concerto since she was a child and today she is proud and happy to perform it for the first time in Yerevan, with the accompaniment of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and conductor Sergey Smbatyan. Aram Khachaturian's Symphony No. 2 was also played during the concert. The 11th Khachaturian International Festival is dedicated to the 120th birth anniversary of the great Armenian composer. This festival is a member of the European Festivals Association  since November 2021. Three more symphony concerts will be held soon in the framework of the 11th Khachaturian International Festival.
