News - Egypt says it received positive signals regarding the extension of Gaza truce

Egypt said on Saturday that it had received positive signals from all sides regarding a possible extension of the Gaza truce by one or two days, Reuters reports.  The head of Egypt's State Information Service (SIS), Diaa Rashwan, said the country was holding extensive talks with all sides to reach an agreement to extend the four-day truce, which "means releasing more detainees in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails."
