The four-day ceasefire between the Israeli army and the Palestinian Hamas movement, which governs Gaza, comes into effect on Friday at 7am. As part of this ceasefire, 200 humanitarian trucks and four with fuel and domestic gas will enter Gaza daily. In addition, Hamas had announced that it had come to an agreement with Israel for the latter to completely suspend its aviation flights in southern Gaza for four days and in the northern part—for six hours, from 10am to 4pm. Israel and Hamas on Wednesday reached the first extensive arrangement—brokered by Qatar—since the conflict escalated on October 7. They agreed to cease hostilities for four days to exchange dozens of hostages and prisoners.
