News - Karabakh president is in Armenia legislature

Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Samvel Shahramanyan is currently in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia. Shahramanyan is attending the closed meeting of the NA Inquiry Committee for Studying the Circumstances of the Hostilities Unleashed on September 27, 2020 Reporters had hoped to ask questions to Shahramanyan before the meeting began, but they did not succeed. Before starting the meeting, the chairman of the aforesaid committee, Andranik Kocharyan, told reporters that the Artsakh president will not talk to them. Kocharyan had said earlier that this committee still had one month until the end of its powers, and they plan to call Samvel Shahramanyan to the committee and answer their questions. On November 16, it became known that Shahramanyan had accepted Kocharyan's proposal to come to this committee and testify. During the 44-day war in 2020, Samvel Shahramanyan had held the office of Minister of Military Patriotism, Youth, Sports and Tourism of Artsakh.
