Nizhanna Tamrazyan, who was forcibly displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and settled with her family in Kapan city of Armenia's Syunik Province, told Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan through a video question that she, being a lawyer, had applied to work in the General Jurisdiction Court of First Instance of Syunik Province, but she is facing a problem as she does not have Armenian citizenship. Pashinyan responded that the regulation of this matter within up to 90 days is the regulation of the law. But he added that this does not always have to last 90 days, and sometimes it lasts up to 90 days. "We had a discussion in the government; I gave an instruction that the solution to the citizenship issue of our compatriots [forcibly displaced from Artsakh] should happen as soon as possible. We can show a special treatment towards those forcibly displaced people who have already applied for employment in public service positions [in Armenia], because in other cases there is no need for [Armenian] citizenship. I hope that these data will be collected quickly, I will instruct that those forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh who applied for public service [jobs in Armenia] and the obstacle is citizenship, their cases will be discussed faster," said the Armenian PM.
