The most expensive carmakers in 2023 are listed. The InterBrand consulting agency publishes the annual ranking of the world's most expensive brands. Accordingly, there were only three automakers in the respective top ten: Toyota (sixth place), Mercedes-Benz (seventh place), and BMW (tenth place). Tesla didn't make the top ten, coming in at number 12. In general, InterBrand notes that the auto industry is one of the most dynamically developing industries. As per the respective published statistics, Toyota's value increased by eight percent in a year to $64.5 billion. Compared to the previous year, Mercedes-Benz rose by one position, increasing in price by nine percent, reaching $61.4 billion. BMW climbed three positions at once and took tenth place for the first time, with a value of $51.1 billion, which is 10 percent more than a year ago. Next in the automotive segment is Tesla—at $49.9 billion (+4 percent). After it, Honda is in 27th place ($24.4 billion, +6 percent). The 32nd place was taken by Hyundai ($20.4 billion, +18 percent), 45th by Audi ($16.3 billion, +9 percent), 47th by Porsche ($16.2 billion, +20 percent), and the 50th is Volkswagen ($15.1 billion, +2 percent). Rounding out the latter half of the top 100 are Ford (51st), Nissan (63rd), Ferrari (70th), and Kia (88th). Only 13 of the 100 companies in this ranking are automobile companies.
