News - Iraq president visits Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan

The President of Iraq, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, and paid tribute to the victims of this genocide. Rashid laid a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and placed flowers at the Eternal Flame. The Iraqi president arrived in Armenia on Tuesday. In Yerevan, he will meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan.
