News - Azerbaijan legislature adopts declaration against US

A commission set up in the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan prepared a declaration, APA reports. The declaration was read by MP Kamila Aliyeva. The declaration was put to a vote and adopted after debates. The declaration is in connection with the US Senate passing the Armenian Protection Act of 2023 on November 15. Senators had voted in favor of this document which prevents the US president from wavering Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act, which prohibits US military aid to Azerbaijan.
